In the Memento mori series, Goodyear tyres have been turned into medallions, frames for prehistoric fossils or ancient artefacts, sometimes real, other times fake. They form a singular calendar, a toothed wheel of time, from the origins of the world to the contemporary era, based on a re-examination of the history of human productions following from the idea that all objects contain the possibility of their own collapse, of their obsolescence and the risk of falling into oblivion.
