The entire façade of a house of Amsterdam exposed at Cosmic Galerie, undermining the conventions of both painting and architecture. Its title "It takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back" is a reference to the mythical album of the rap group "Public Enemy" and expresses the idea that almost nothing can stop this artist.
Untitled (Tattoo)
2001
In his avowed fantasy to become an artist who can't be ignored, made into a star by the world of art and glorified by the people, he persuades a young woman whom he met on the street to tattoo “Piero my Idol” on her back. He seduces this woman like someone who doesn't know yet the world of contemporary art – world that is often perceived as too elitist and hermetic, but which is at the same time conceptual and intuitive, poetic, mischievous and tender.
Going to Tirana

Photograph documenting the performance: the artist spent five days rowing a tiny one-man vessel across the Adriatic sea, from Brindisi to Durazzo, for the opening reception of the Tirana biennial - becoming the first illegal Italian immigrant to seek asylum in Albania. The piece would be his homage to the thousands of Albanians who fled to Italy in recent years.
On the Edge

Performance
The artist climbed up a giant palm tree at the Turin Art Fair and refused to come down until someone bought his work. In a true tantrum of despotic legacy, no amount of public humiliation or physical torture would deter his will: he would settle for nothing less than full price. He was up a tree for a full eight hour business day before a worthy collector fell prey to his terrors. The tree is now planted in a backyard somewhere in Tuscany, just a common ornamental foliage, bearing a plaque, monumentalising the iron will of Golia, and the victorious deposit into his bank account.
